Schedule for the Weekend
Please note that some sessions my change or rotate from year to year in order to keep the retreat fresh. We have many fathers who come multiple times with the same or other sons. Dodgeball, water balloon competition, and meals are unaffected!

Check-in (Coffee, juice, and donuts)
Welcome and Introductions
Break
Session 1 Talk: My Father, My Son, and Me
Followed by father and son private time and activity time
Fun Activity Break #1 - Dodgeball
Fathers against the Sons!
(Separate Sessions)
Session 2A: Let's Talk, Son I - Communication Skills for Fathers
Session 2B: Let's Talk, Dad I - Communication Skills for Sons
Lunch and "on your own" activities
Session 3 Talk: Living with Emotions
Followed by father and son private time and activity time
Fun Activity Break #2 - Water balloon Toss Competition
Each Father and Son play as a team!
Session 4 Talk: What is a Man?
Followed by father and son private time and activity time
Break
Reconciliation: In addition to having the opportunity for Reconciliation, opportunities during this time include personal prayer time, Stations of the Cross, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, one-on-one time, Champions of Faith baseball video, and more.
Dinner
Session 5 Talk: I Hear You Calling - This is a priest's talk about the vocation of being a father and the vocation of being a son.
Special Talk: The Life of a Monk (by one of the Benedictine monks)
Benediction
Evening Activities: Hayrack ride, board games and other activities.
Return to room – Fathers and Sons share the day’s experiences before sleep.
Sunday
Morning Prayer – (Both are optional)
6:20 am With the monks at the Priory >>> Maximum of 20 people
or
7:00 am In the Chapel (everyone is invited)

Session 6 Talk: Who Do You Say That I am?
Followed by father and son private time and activity time
Break
Session 7A: Let's Talk, Son II (Fathers)
Session 7B: Let's Talk, Dad II (Sons)
Father and Sons – Private time together
Mass (In the chapel)
Each fathers provides a special blessing on to his son (at the end of Mass)
11:30 - Noon: Closing, Evaluations and Departure.
